Choir

Music plays an important role in the life of our church, as we express our praise to God and worship him. Each week our congregation is accompanied by organ and piano, giving a good lead to the singing. A drumkit also adds an extra dimension to some of the livelier hymns and songs.

Our choir meets at 7pm on Wednesday, when preparing to sing at many services throughout the year – Harvest, Christmas and Easter as well as various other services – they take part in our evening service on the second Sunday of each month when we also have a visiting speaker. The choir also sing in Trillick in the Harvest services there and their annual carol service.

We have about twenty members at the minute and we are always glad to welcome new members. We enjoy the fun and fellowship of our practices as we prepare our music – our prayer is that God will use the music of the choir to uplift, challenge and encourage us all in our walk with God.  Below is a photo of the choir at our Harvest Service, Sunday 20th October 2013.
